Open source on GitHub since 30 May 2025: Agent Player is one of the first frameworks for self-hosted AI agents that combine tools, messenger connectors and avatars in a single platform.
Agent Player is a fully open-source framework teams use to build production-ready AI agents for automation, customer support, content and internal workflows. Its modular architecture lets you add your own tools and extensions.
Agents reach users through Discord, Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, email and voice calls, keep context over long periods and store credentials encrypted (AES-256). Dpro designed the architecture, backend, extension system and security model.
